Our Responsible Materials
-
PLA (Polyactic Acid)
Learn moreOur use of PLA, a bioplastic made from renewable resources like corn, reduces the carbon footprint compared to traditional plastics. This material is also biodegradable under specific conditions, minimizing plastic waste.
-
TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane)
Learn moreWe use TPU, a material that is both durable and recyclable. Thanks to its resistance and flexibility properties, it reduces the need to replace products frequently, thus contributing to more responsible consumption.
-
Steel
We integrate steel into our products for its robustness and longevity. Steel is an infinitely recyclable material, making it a sustainable choice for our components.
Eco-responsible delivery

Optimization and Alternative Energies
La Poste optimizes the transport of parcels with the “stored bulk” method, allowing up to 4,500 parcels to be transported by truck. It also uses electric heavy-duty trucks and biogas to reduce carbon emissions.
-
Fleet and Eco-Driving
La Poste has 37,000 electric vehicles, reducing CO₂ emissions by 90% compared to thermal vehicles. In addition, 80,000 postal workers are trained in eco-driving to reduce fuel consumption.
-
Buildings and Journey Sharing
Since 2016, 100% of La Poste buildings have been powered by renewable electricity. La Poste pools routes for the distribution of mail and parcels, thus avoiding additional trips and reducing CO₂ emissions.
