At Suppa, we have chosen to use PLA (polylactic acid) to manufacture our products, including our revolutionary pipette holder, Suppa One. This material offers many advantages in terms of durability, respect for the environment and performance.

The advantages of PLA

Biodegradable and Biosourced 🌱

PLA is a biodegradable plastic made from renewable resources such as corn starch, sugar cane or sugar beet. Unlike traditional petroleum-derived plastics, PLA breaks down naturally in industrial composting environments, reducing its environmental impact.

High Quality and Durability 🛠️

PLA offers excellent 3D printing quality, allowing the creation of precise and robust products. Its durability ensures a long life for our products, reducing the need for frequent replacements and contributing to the reduction of waste.

The PLA used is made from Ingeo 4043D resin, already recognized for its quality in 3D printing. The filament is guaranteed without Bisphenol A and with low moisture absorption. It is also ROHS certified which excludes the presence of dangerous substances.
